Rockland County Resident Wins More Than $45,000 In Lottery

For one Rockland County resident, buying a lottery ticket paid off big time.

The New York Lottery announced on Monday that one of the top-prize winning tickets in its August 7th Take 5 drawing was sold at the Ahz Minimart in Spring Valley.

According to the New York Lottery, the ticket is worth $45,622.50.

The five winning numbers for the TAKE 5 game are drawn from a field of one to 39 and the drawings are televised every day at 10:30pm.

A Lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
