Rockland County Road Resurfacing Program To Begin, See Which Roads Will Be Fixed

The Rockland County Highway Department announces the following County roads will be resurfaced in this season’s resurfacing program:

In the Town of Ramapo:
Red Schoolhouse Rd, Summit to NJ border
Scotland Hill Rd, north end of bridge to Old Nyack Turnpike
Old Nyack Turnpike/S Central Ave, Rte 45 to Pipetown Hill Rd
Saddle River Rd, Milrose Ln to Rte 59
S Monsey Rd, Saddle River Rd to Christmas Hill Rd
Firemen’s Memorial Dr, Pomona Rd to end

In the Town of Clarkstown:
Germonds Rd, Bardonia Rd to Strawtown Rd
Pascack Rd, bridge near Scotland Hill Rd to Old Nyack Turnpike
Old Nyack Turnpike, Pascack Rd to new Highway site gate
Little Tor Rd, Burda Ln to Collyer Ave
Strawtown Rd, McCarthy Way to Westerly Dr

In the Town of Orangetown:
Central Ave, Rte 304 to Henry St
Middletown Rd, Central Ave to Brightwood Ave
Sickletown Rd, 115 Sickletown Rd to first cross street after tunnel
Washington St, Slocum Ave to Dederer St
Sickletown Rd, first cross st after tunnel to Townline Rd

In the Town of Haverstraw:
Suffern Ln, Donaldson Ln to Central Highway
In the Town of Stony Point, New York:
Filor Ln, Hammond Rd to Central Highway
Reservoir Rd, Central Dr to W Main St

The following roads in the Town of Stony Point, New York will also be resurfaced that were shown to have a high rate of failure in the past two years at no additional cost to taxpayers:
Mott Farm Rd, Bulsontown Rd to Buckberg Rd
Letchworth Village Road, Willow Grove Rd to Thiells Mt Ivy Rd
Washburns Ln, Thiells Rd to Central Highway
