Hatzoloh of Rockland County has published a memo to the Rockland Jewish community warning of a renewed outbreak of COVID-19 cases.
“We are amid another recurrence of COVID-19 cases here in Rockland County,” the coordinators of Rockland County Hatzoloh wrote.
The new recurrence shows some differences from the first outbreak, hitting people of all ages.
“There are currently over 40 COVID cases in Nyack Hospital, and over 40 in GSH. There are over 7 ICU cases in each hospital,” they wrote.
The coordinators urged the community to be stringent in mask use, not to leave home if showing symptoms, and not send children to school or shul if they are not feeling well.
