Large Group of Rockland Officials Met With Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Senator Elijah Melnick

A large group of elected officials in Rockland County met Sunday morning with Senate majority leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Senator Elijah Melnick, who is running for New York Senate District 38, to thank him for the recent funding he has helped secure to our town and villages.

The meeting, which took place in Pomona, involved a very good conversation about building bridges and the advantage of working together in unity.

The needs of upgrading our aging infrastructure, public transportation, East Ramapo schools, school bussing were among the topics discussed and the dialogue and conversation will continue.
