Rockland Sees Spike in COVID-19 Cases
by Monsey.info
Officials are sounding the alarm on what is clearly becoming a concerning spike in COVID-19 cases in Rockland County.
As of 9/24/20, the number of active cases were in the triple digits in some areas.
Most alarming are the areas of Spring Valley (160 cases) and Monsey (150 cases), both which are more than double from just one week ago.
In contrast, the third highest area is Suffern, which has only 29 cases.
Recent clusters have raised concerns in New York City as well, with one of the largest clusters in Brooklyn causing at least one Jewish school to move to a zoom platform through Tishrei.
