Rockland Sewer District Receives $1,000,000 Grant

The Rockland Sewer District will be receiving $1,000,000 for our Screening Improvements Project as a STAG grant through the EPA.

The Screening Improvements Project includes replacing the three mechanical type bar screens which the Sewer District utilizes daily, as well as upgrading the existing screenings building.

The existing screens and conveyors have exceeded their useful life.

By replacing this equipment and upgrading the building structurally, it will help the screenings process and efficiency of the wastewater treatment plant.
