Route 202 Closed After Motorcycle Accident

A man was airlifted to the hospital, and Route 202 closed to traffic after the man collided with a deer while riding a motorcycle.

An early morning accident involving a motorcyclist and a deer closed Route 202 between Wilder Rd and Route 306 Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred around 7:40am, and required the motorcyclist to be airlifted the the hospital.

He was taken to Westchester Medical Center.

The accident is presently under investigation.
