Shabbos Car Wreck in Airmont, One Arrested

A word of advice, if your running from the police, don’t leave your identification behind.

A Rockland County man made that mistake after crashing his car into a parked vehicle in Airmont over Shabbos.

Ramapo police responded to find the car wrecked after the driver attempted to flee the scene in the vehicle, crashing his car into a Utility pole.

The driver attempted to flee a second time, this time on foot.

While he did manage to get away before the police arrived, he left identification behind, leading the officers right to his door.
