A Jewish girl abducted in the Bensonhurst area of Brooklyn while on her way to Day camp was found Tuesday, thanks to the work of Boro Park Shomrim.
According to BoroPark24, Shomrim had received a call for a girl who had not shown up to camp shortly before 9:00am Tuesday morning. Volunteers were immediately dispatched to comb the neighborhood in the hopes of locating her.
One of the volunteers spotted her as she was coming out of a building, and after a brief investigation, it was determined that she hadn’t simply lost her way, rather she had been abducted by a stranger.
The police ultimately arrested the man suspected in the abduction.
