Shooting At Haverstraw Funeral Home, One Dead

The owner of a funeral home in Haverstraw is dead after a disgruntled employee opened fire.

The employee had just been fired from the funeral home when he returned to 133 Broadway in Haverstraw with a gun, according to a report. The employee opened fire, killing the owner.

Another employee at the funeral home was armed, and shot the disgruntled employee in the arm.

EMS transported the inured attacker to the hospital.
