UPDATED 4:20pm: Shooting Attack In Israel Leaves Three Injured, One Critically

Three people have been injured Thursday in what appears to be a drive-by shooting in the Shomron region.

Preliminary reports indicate that the three had been driving in their vehicle between Shavei Shomron and Homesh when they were fired upon. They continued driving and arrived at Homesh, where they contacted the authorities.

As of the reports, one of the injured was in critical condition and the other two in mild to light condition.

This story is developing and will be updated as information becomes available.

Update 1:25pm: The man critically injured in the shooting has passed away from his injuries.

Update 1:40pm: The three people in the vehicle have been identified as Yeshiva Students. The 20-year-old who was seated in the back of the car was found unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds to the body when he arrived at Homesh. MDA treated all three injured and pronounced the 20-year-old dead. At present, the IDF is searching for two terrorists who are believed to have perpetrated the shooting. Roadblocks have been set up throughout the area.

Update 4:20pm: The person who was murdered has been identified as Yehuda Dimentman HY”D, a husband and father who was returning from his Yeshiva.
