Spring Hill Ambulance Gets New Staging Center Near Sloatsburg

This past Sunday evening, November 21st, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to welcome Spring Hill West to their new staging area in Sloatsburg.

Supervisor Michael Specht, Mayor Peter Akey, Councilman David Wanounou and Trustee Darrell Frazier were present to cut the ribbon and welcomed the first responders to their new home.

The Town of Ramapo contracts Spring Hill West to provide ambulance services to the Sloatsburg area, which had until recently been operating from a location outside the Village.

“Residents of Sloatsburg will benefit from quicker response times for medical emergencies due to their relocation to the Village,” a statement from the Town of Ramapo said. “We wish Spring Hill West Ambulance Corps success in their new staging area, and we thank them for all that they do as first responders.”
