Spring Hill EMS Approved as Rockland County’s First Municipal Volunteer 911 Advanced Life Support Agency
Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corps has proudly announces its approval as Rockland County’s newest and first municipal volunteer Advanced Life Support (ALS) agency, following a successful NYS inspection. This inspection marked the final step to become an ALS agency.
With a current roster of many paramedics, and more expected to complete training by year’s end, Spring Hill continues to improve emergency medical care in the Town of Ramapo.
“This achievement reflects years of dedication from our officers, members, and local authorities,” Chief Eli Ungar said of the achievement “Our mission centers on community service, and our paramedics eagerly anticipate serving the community for years to come.”
In preparation for its upcoming launch, Spring Hill hosted a paramedic training session, welcoming community leaders and healthcare providers to familiarize themselves with Spring Hill’s mission and protocols. The event also introduced Dr. Robin Kim as Spring Hill ALS’s Medical Director.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Town of Ramapo for their substantial contribution in purchasing our Lifepak 15 cardiac monitors, which are essential to our advanced medical care capabilities. We also appreciate Montefiore Nyack Hospital, who supplied us with surplus ventilators and provided us with our training. With our top-tier equipment, we are now better equipped to provide the highest level of pre-hospital care to the residents of Rockland County and guests.
