State Police Arrest 38 Impaired Motorists, Issue 1,021 Tickets, During Memorial Day Weekend Crackdown

State Police in Troop F issued 1,021 vehicle and traffic law violation tickets during the Memorial Day Weekend, May 28, 2021.

From 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2021 through 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021, New York State Troopers in Troop F issued tickets for 215 speeding violations, 29 distracted driving violations, 155 seatbelt violations, 39 child restraint violations, 6 move-over violations, and removed 38 impaired motorists from the roadway. State police also responded to 46 vehicle accidents.

Troop F includes Rockland, Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, and Greene Counties.
