TD Bank To Shut Branches Across the United States Over Coronavirus
by Monsey.info
Ameritrade, commonly known as TD Bank, has closed many of its branches nationwide in what is becoming a growing financial crises.
The notice was sent to those with accounts at the bank, informing them of the closures.
“To protect the safety and welfare of both our clients and associates from the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to close our network of branches nationwide, effective immediately.”
The closure appears to effect not only the branches, but also the ATM machines located in those branches, leaving people unable to access cash, or deposit checks through the machines.
As an alternative, the bank told clients to use unaffected branches, as well as mobile deposits to deposit checks.
