Born in Israel, and raised in Brooklyn, Abe is an Antique Judaica Expert, and photojournalist of Hasidic Life in America.

Referred to as a 21st century Roman Vishniac, Abe has documented American Hasidic communities for 15 years, amassing hundreds of thousands of images, and tens of thousands of loyal followers.

His documentary work exudes a passion for storytelling and photographic preservation of a timeless community in a new world.

Inspired by Vishniac, Abe’s photography skills are complimented by his appreciation for preserving history through his experience with antiques.

Initially facing cautious skepticism as an outsider with a camera during times of antisemitic media coverage, Abe’s sensitive and artistic approach earned him the respect and appreciation of many Hasidic American communities. This trust lead to Abe achieving unprecedented access to the most private moments and exclusive events within an otherwise largely enclosed community.

Abe’s storytelling is one of building bridges, challenging negative stereotypes, and showcasing beauty within diversity.
