The Jew Project: Israeli Talk Show Host and Jewish Mother, Hadassah Chen

Born in Milan, Italy, Hadassah attended school in England and then Israel. Upon returning to Italy, she planned corporate events for Lehman Brothers. Hadassah’s grandparents were very connected to the Lubavitch Rebbe and helped build the Milanese Jewish community after WWII.

Hadassah married Major Yossi Chen, from Israel who was then serving in the IDF and they established themselves in Jerusalem. Hadassah and Yossi braved a very difficult and emotional journey together when they lost their 2yo daughter to a Neuroblastoma.

They channeled their experience with tragedy into strength and purpose by helping others through a Charitable Fund established in their daughter Navi’s name.

Hadassah found writing as a form of therapy and a beautiful way to express and process emotions. Their support of families in need is a true honor toNavi’s memory.

Hadassah wrote and directed her first music video with Yaakov Shwekey with his hit song ‘Et Rikod”. After her next 2 children were born, Hadassah created a talk show where she would interview inspiring individuals who have overcome challenges and obstacles in their lives. She uses her platform to spread messages of hope, positivity, and resilience to others who may be going through tough times.

Her talk show includes guests from all walks of life to inspire viewers to keep pushing forward no matter what life has dealt them.

Hadassah’s talk show gained popularity and received overwhelming positive feedback.

She was picked up by Israel National News to have her own talk show called ‘Real Talk with Hadassah Chen’. She also has her own column in the Jerusalem Post called ‘Touch of Chen’.

As she continues to pursue her dreams and spread positivity through her talk show, Hadassah feels a sense of peace and contentment. With each new episode of her talk show, Hadassah reaffirms her commitment to living a life filled with purpose, faith, and love.
