Thousands in NJ, NY Still Without Power Wednesday After Severe Storms
Nearly 44,000 customers across New Jersey and another 1,100 in the New York City area were still without power (and air conditioning) Wednesday morning after storms swept through the region Tuesday evening.
As of 7:15 a.m., Jersey Central Power & Light reported around 37,400 customers without power; while PSE&G reported nearly over 6,400 New Jerseyans with no service.
