Three Arrested For Burglary In Spring Valley

On Wednesday November 6th, 2019 at about 2:00pm, the Town of Ramapo and Village of Spring Valley Police Departments conducted a search at 78 Twin Av., in the Village of Spring Valley. Officers wearing SWAT gear and high powered rifles could be seen entering and exiting the home.

The search warrant was obtained as a result of a joint investigation between the two Police Departments into commercial burglaries in the area. During the search, evidence from previous burglaries was recovered, as well as approximately a pound of Marijuana and 6.5 grams of cocaine.

The Spring Valley-Ramapo investigation was furthered by the assistance of the Rockland County Intel Unit, Chaverim of Rockland County and the Rockland County Drug Task Force.

The investigation culminated yesterday with the following arrests.

Quinten Jackson, age 34, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree.

Michael Brookins Jr., age 36 was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 4th degree.

Tyreek Jackson, age 27 was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd degree and Possession of Burglar’s Tools by the Town of Ramapo Police Department. He was arraigned last night and was remanded to the County Jail. He is still facing multiple imminent Spring Valley Police Department charges for Burglaries, Larcenies and Criminal Mischief in relation to at least 6 commercial burglaries in the Village.
