Tragedy: 8-Year Old Boy Struck and Killed By Bus in New Square

In a tragic incident Monday night, an 8-year-old boy was struck and killed by a bus in front of a school on Clinton Lane in New Square.

Hatzolah rushed to the scene around 6:00pm in front of 100 Clinton Avenue, and initiated life saving treatment, but unfortunately were unable to save him.

Police said the bus driver remained at the scene of the crash and is working with police. The accident remains under investigation by Ramapo’s accident reconstruction team.

Mordechai Pinchus OBM, is the son Rabbi and Mrs. Yakov Yosef Spitzer.

The Levaya took place tonight, Monday, at the Skvere Bais Hachaim.
