Two Arrests Made For Burglaries, One In The Monsey Area
On Tuesday August 1st, the Ramapo Police Investigations Division made two burglary arrests resulting from 2twoseparate incidents reported to the Ramapo Police Department.
In the first incident, RPD received a report of a residential burglary that has occurred in June 2023. After an investigation, a juvenile (less than 18 years old) was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd Degree (C-Felony). He was issued an appearance ticket and will report to the Rockland County Probation Department for further proceedings.
In the second incident, RPD received a report of a commercial burglary that had occurred on July 21, 2023, in the Monsey area of the Town. RPD detectives conducted an investigation and on August 1, 2023, arrested a 33-year-old male from Spring Valley. He was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree (D-Felony) and Grand Larceny 3rd Degree (D-Felony). He was arraigned in the Town of Ramapo Court and released without bail pending a future court appearance.
