Vehicle Rollover Sends Two People To The Hospital and Shuts Down The Palisades For Hours

The Palisades Parkway was shut down Sunday morning for hours after a vehicle wrecked and rolled over between Exits 12 and 13.
Police, EMS, and Fire response vehicles rushed to the scene around 10:30am after the white sedan exited the roadway and flipped, trapping two unconscious people inside the vehicle.
One patient was transported by medivac helicopter to Westchester Medical Center while another was driven by ambulance to a local hospital.
Traffic on the Palisades was diverted off the Parkway with the help of NRSP and the State Police.
