When Your Work Is So Important, Even The New York State Senator Recognizes It
You know an organization is important. You know that it is indispensable. But when a New York State Senator recognizes it, and the New York Times writes about it, you know it is worth donating to.
In 2009, then New York State Senator Eric Adams recognized Devorah Benjamin and Keren Simchas Chosson V’Kallah at Kings County Hospital, honoring her for her efforts on behalf of Brooklyn’s families.
The New York Times profiled her in 2011, quoting Devorah that Keren Simchas Chosson V’Kallah “runs on miracles and miracles and love.”
Even Devorah herself recognized what she does, saying “I’m a part of everyone’s lives.”
So if Eric Adams, the New York Times, and Devorah Benjamin herself recognize the importance of Keren Simchas Chosson V’Kallah, do you as well?
