An 21-year-old man and 12-year-old child are being charged in the burglary of multiple Jewish institutions in Ramapo this week after they were caught following the break in of a Shul this past weekend.

According to the Ramapo Police Department, the duo are being charged with three burglaries in Ramapo and the adult linked to another that occurred last month.

The two burglars are both from Monsey, according to the police, and are charged with multiple counts of burglary and grand larceny.

Police say the 21-year-old also had an outstanding warrant in New Jersey and is being held at Rockland County Jail pending a hearing on the New Jersey warrant. The 12-year-old was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
