Blaze Burns Through Home in Viola, No Injuries

A fire broke out in Viola Wednesday Afternoon, burning through the home. No one was home at the time of the blaze, which left no injuries.

Emergency services received reports of a fire at a home in Viola Wednesday afternoon around 12:20pm.

The home, located at 46 Forshay Rd, was empty at the time, and no one was injured.

Chaverim and Hatzalah were on scene nearly immediately, while the fire department took significantly longer. One person at the scene pointed out that even a news chopper managed to arrive before the fire department.

The cause of the fire in under investigation.
