Fire Rips Through Monsey Home, No Injuries

A fire tore through a Jewish home on Maple Leaf Rd in Monsey Tuesday afternoon, no one was injured and the family was not home at the time.

A fire tore through a Jewish owned home in Monsey Tuesday afternoon, leaving the home destroyed, but left no injuries.

Emergency services were called around 3:00pm Tuesday with reports that the home at 14 Maple Leaf Rd was on fire. The firefighters arrived to find the home engulfed in flames.

Neighboring fire departments were called to help in dousing the flames, and the fire was ultimately put out.

The owners of the home were not there at the time, and no one was injured in the blaze.
