PSA: Heat Advisory In Effect For Rockland County

A heat advisory is in effect for Rockland County Tuesday starting at 11:00am, and going through 8:00pm Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to hit the low 100’s with high humidity making it worse.

According to the National Weather Service, the highest temperatures are expected between 1:00pm and 5:00pm each afternoon.

Monsey.info would like to remind everyone to drink plenty of water, and stay indoors whenever possible.

A Heat Advisory is issued when the combination of heat and humidity is expected to make it feel like it is 95 to 99 degrees for two or more consecutive days, or 100 to 104 degrees for any length of time.
