The County Highway Dept. continues its road resurfacing program with work on the following roads in the Town of Ramapo: 6/25 – 6/27: Spook Rock Rd, Highview Rd to Grandview Ave and 6/28: Forshay Rd/Wilder Rd, Willow Tree Rd to Lime Kiln Rd.

Major Snowstorm Expected Tonight – Wesley Hills Residents Reminded Not To Park on the Streets Overnight
There is a major snowstorm expected tonight into tomorrow. Here is a reminder that as our plows deal with snow this Winter, you should note that Wesley Hills Village code, dating back to 2003, prohibits parking on any public street between the hours of 2:00am and 6:00am all year long.

Precipitation is forecast to start just after midnight Tuesday morning; a brief period of drizzle may be seen before mixed precipitation moves in. By 4am, snow is expected to be the only precipitation falling.

Traffic Alert: Route 303 Closure This Weekend
Effective 8 pm on Friday 1/26, Route 303 from Erie St to Orangeburg Rd in the Town of Orangetown will be closed for emergency repair of a damaged sewer mainline pipe. The road is scheduled to reopen at 5 am on Monday 1/29. Detours will be in place.

Snow is expected to overspread the area between 4am and 6am Friday and will continue through the day before coming to an end between 5pm and 8pm Friday evening. Total snowfall amounts between 2-4″ are currently expected. Wind will be out of the N at 5-12 mph throughout the day.

Snake Hill Road Bridge in West Nyack has reopened. The Town had previously received a NYS grant to replace the aging County bridge over the CSX rail line.
