The New York State Thruway Authority today announced the removal of a pedestrian bridge over the Thruway (I-87/I-287) linking the Sloatsburg and Ramapo service areas will necessitate traffic stops, lasting approximately 20 minutes each, in both directions during the overnights of Monday, Dec. 13, Tuesday, Dec. 14, and Wednesday, Dec. 15.
The New York State Department of Transportation will be making closures this week of Route 9W in both directions from Shadyside Ave in South Nyack to Hickey St in the Village of Piermont, New York.

Rockland's 2nd Annual National Night Out will be taking place on Monday, August 12th, at the Rockland Boulders Stadium. The night will feature presentations by Law Enforcement and Fire Departments, including a K-9 presentation, and the use of the Jaws of Life. The evening will also include entertainment such as a dunk tank, bounce house, face painting and more. A firework grand finale will finish off the night with a bang. The event begins at 4:00pm, and will continue through 9:00pm. Admission is free for all.
The Rockland County Highway Department announces the milling of W Washington Ave in Pearl River from Route 304 to Old Highland Ave on Wednesday, November 3 and Thursday, November 4.
