PSA: Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect For Rockland County

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been announced by the National Weather Service for Southeast New York, warning of potential downpours through 10:00pm tonight.
A heat advisory is also in effect for New York City Tuesday starting at 11:00am, and going through 8:00pm Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to hit the low 100’s with high humidity making it worse.
According to the National Weather Service, the highest temperatures are expected between 1:00pm and 5:00pm each afternoon.
