Ramapo Supervisor Updates On Snow Storm

Primarily snow is expected overnight tonight and through tomorrow afternoon. A transition to a rain/snow mix is possible in the morning and early afternoon.

Currently, we forecast snow to still be the primary precipitation type. In total, 6-8″ of snow is likely with a potential to see 10+”. If a changeover to all or primarily rain occurs, accumulation amounts will drastically decrease due to melting and washing away of already fallen snow.

Winds will remain breezy with wind gusts of 20-25 mph expected until tomorrow morning.
