PSA: The Eruv of Monsey Section 6 is Down

The “Eiruv” covering the Scotland Hill Community is down, and is not kosher this week. This may affect people from Chestnut Ridge / Scotland Hill Community / Rt 45 Chestnut Ridge Road.

This eruv section is usually covering between Route 45 and the garden States and between Scotland Hill Road & red schoolhouse road.

Regarding Route 45 / Chestnut Ridge Road, when you come from Spring Valley on Rt 45, onces you pass the the New York State Thruway over pass, the eruv is not continuing up to Red schoolhouse.

13 Repairs were made this week: 3 Chestnut, 5 Montebello, 1 Monsey 2 Suzan Lake, 2 Haverstraw.

During the week Significance upgrades were also made to the NYS Thruway fence for Spring Valley Eruv.
