First Sighting of Israel’s ‘Air Force One’

The aircraft which is to serve as Israel’s ‘Air Force One’ was spotted at the Aircraft Division of Israel Aerospace Industries Sunday. Ynet journalist Itay Bluementhal reported that the top of the plane was painted blue and the bottom was painted white. In the tail of the plane is a giant Star of David and the words “State of Israel” are written on the body of the plane.

Terrorist Neutralized After Ramming Attack on Border Police

A terrorist who allegedly tried to carry out a ramming attack against undercover Border Police officers and hit an armored vehicle was neutralized and evacuated in serious condition to the hospital. Border Police said that heavy damage was caused to the armored vehicle in which the fighters had been, but there were no IDF casualties.

Report: Israel Conducted Nuclear Experiment in 1979

The Foreign Policy magazine reports that Israel conducted a nuclear experiment 40 years ago over the Atlantic Ocean. On September 22, 1979, an American reconnaissance satellite recorded a double flash over the South Atlantic. US military analysts at the Patrick Air Force Base in Florida quickly concluded the flashes were a nuclear detonation.

Israel to Cut Power Supply to PA Over Unpaid Debts

Israel’s national electricity company said Sunday it was cutting power to parts of the Palestinian Authority due to outstanding payments amounting to nearly $483 million. The Israel Electric Corporation said it was owed 1.7 billion shekels in debts from the main power distributor for Palestinian Authority-controlled towns in Judea and Samaria, which is based in eastern Jerusalem.
