I guess repair materials at O&R were short. The “Willow Tree Party Candidates” announced their happiness that the O&R workers reallocated one of their campaign signs for a makeshift repair following the windstorm earlier this week.

On November 2nd, Supervisor Specht welcomed a large number of dignitaries and guests to the Town of Ramapo’s front lawn where Chabad of Suffern sponsored a Solidarity event for 242 hostages being held in Gaza who we are praying will be returned home to their families safely. A place was set for each hostage at an empty table.

A packed house at the Continental Monday night as thousands of Williamsburg residents came to hear speeches and an informative Q&A panel on health and preventative medicine. Moderating the panel was Rockland County Physician Assistant Dov Landa, who has a practice in Pomona and was previously a primary care provider in Williamsburg.

Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael B. Specht met with Rabbi Yosef Golding, the CEO of Hatzoloh of Rockland to discuss the benefit for all fire and ambulance volunteers that are residents in the Town of Ramapo following the signed tax break. Supervisor Specht and Rabbi Golding both agreed the volunteers are well deserving as they risk their lives for all of us each day.

A interesting accident took place this morning when a truck crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Red Schoolhouse Rd. and Summit Rd. in the Village of Chestnut Ridge, The dump truck completely broke the the pole causing the live wires to spark.
