Stabbing Attack in Jerusalem’s Old City, 2 Injured

A man was very seriously wounded in a stabbing attack on Friday morning in an area in the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem. The man was stabbed in his upper body and Magen David Adom paramedics are making efforts to save his life. A short time later, reports were received about an 18-year-old who was lightly wounded in a stabbing attack in the vicinity of the Hurva Synagogue.

IDF Completes Destruction of Main Hezbollah Attack Tunnel

The IDF, in an effort led by the Northern Command and the 91st Division, completed the destruction of an attack tunnel that was dug by the Hezbollah terror organization, crossing into Israeli territory from Lebanon. The attack tunnel was dug from the Shi’ite village of Ramiyeh and was exposed by the IDF last January as part of Operation “Northern Shield”.

Russia Rejects US ‘Deal of the Century’

Russia on Tuesday rejected the US peace plan for Israel and the Palestinian Arabs. The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the upcoming economic conference in Bahrain is an attempt by the US “to substitute the genuine peace process with imposed economic incentives.”

Three-Year-Old Dies in Tzfat Fire

Elad Frizat, 3, passed away Saturday in a Tzfat fire. The fire injured eighteen others, including a 4-year-old boy who suffered burns and a 14-year-old girl who was having difficulty breathing. The other victims suffered from smoke inhalation.

High School Bus Hit by Firebomb in Israel

A bus carrying students from a girls’ religious high school back home after Shabbat was hit by a firebomb Saturday night, setting the vehicle on fire. The incident occurred after the bus dropped off several girls from the Oriyah Ulpana school at Pnei Kedem, an Israeli town northwest of Hevron, in Judea, south of Jerusalem.

Earthquake Felt in Central Israel

An earthquake was felt in central Israel, including Jerusalem, Wednesday night. The Geophysical Institute reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was at sea, between Hadera and Haifa, about 200 kilometers (125 miles) from the Israeli coast. The quake struck Israel at 7:53 PM. No injuries or damage has been reported in the wake of the 4.6 magnitude quake.

Synagogue Vandalized in Central Israel

A synagogue in the central Israeli city of Lod was vandalized overnight, worshipers discovered Wednesday morning. The synagogue, which is home to an Indian-Jewish congregation, was targeted by vandals who broke into the building and trashed the interior of the synagogue.
